VISION STATEMENT
The Community Herb Project is an organization of people dedicated to teaching about natural health, restoring the environment by fostering the growth of native medicinal plants, and producing high-quality medicinal herb preparations. Recognizing that environmental health and human health are interconnected and ultimately the same, we work to restore this relationship to a state of optimum health through a variety of programs and services.
All of our programs work toward creating balance in the way that people relate to nature. Acknowleding that humans are a product of the natural world and cannot be separated from it, we teach about the environment, holistic healing, diet, and medicinal herbs with the intention of discovering the true health that results from living in harmony with nature.
We seek to create herbal medicines of the highest quality- a quality that reflects products made according to an integration of modern herbal therapeutics with the core timeless knowledge of the world’s best healing traditions.
These herbal preparations will be available for sale in local retail stores and for donation to those who cannot afford medicines.
By teaching the knowledge and skills needed to live in harmony with nature, we are realizing a condition of health and happiness that is pure and that benefits the planet, other living things, and future generations.
